Because of his role as an early pioneer, trailblazer and visionary in the modern Messianic movement, he has been called by many, "the Father of Modern-day Messianic Judaism." Messianic musicians Joel Chernoff, Kol Simcha, Kathy Shooster and Joel Brotman shared their love in song. Manny was used by God in many people’s lives.
Sandra Sheskin Brotman, his helpmate, delivered a powerfully poignant eulogy for her husband: his love as a husband, his passion and sacrifice, his sincere heartfelt love for the Land and People of Israel and his supernatural promotion to Heaven after his massive brain hemorrhage. As he would have desired, Sandra gave an invitation to receive Yeshua.
Even as the Israeli flag draped his coffin and the blast of the shofar (ram’s horn) pierced the air at his burial, Manny’s homegoing pointed to the soon return of Messiah Yeshua for His Bride! As a general in the Army of the Lord, Manny fought contin-uously for Israel's salvation.
