Ark of the Covenant Replica (3166)
The Ark of the Covenant of the Bible was made of acacia wood and overlaid, inside and out, with pure gold. Inside were the tablets of stone containing the Law God gave to Moses on the mountain. So holy was this ark that no one was allowed to touch it. The carrying method was designed by God and allowed the Levites to lift and carry it without touching it by using gold plated rods placed in gold rings on the sides. This beautiful replica depicts the Ark of the Covenant carried by members of the priestly tribe of Levi. This sculpture measures 6”x3.5” at the base and is 5” high.
